VISIOLAB produced the MyGovUC 3.0 Corporate Video, showcasing Malaysia’s largest Google Workspace rollout, highlighting its impact on government efficiency, collaboration, and digital transformation.
Project Overview

Commissioned by REDtone and HumanCapient Consulting under Jabatan Digital Negara, the MyGovUC 3.0 Corporate Video aimed to promote the government’s digital transformation by showcasing the largest adoption of Google Workspace across multiple agencies. The challenge was to create a compelling video that not only demonstrated real-world use cases but also highlighted the system’s efficiency, security, and collaborative capabilities. Given the involvement of various government agencies, the production required careful coordination, adherence to strict security protocols, and a seamless narrative that resonated with different stakeholders.

Project Challenges

To effectively address these challenges, VISIOLAB adopted a multi-layered strategy:

  1. Use Case-Driven Storytelling – The video was structured around real-life government workflows, illustrating how Google Workspace enhances efficiency, communication, and collaboration in public service operations.
  2. Multi-Agency Coordination – With filming scheduled across multiple government agencies, we streamlined logistics, secured approvals, and ensured smooth on-site operations while maintaining compliance with security and confidentiality requirements.

PETRONAS sought to showcase two flagship digital transformation initiatives in a concise, compelling format for internal stakeholders. Each project involved complex technical concepts and multiple site locations, requiring a storytelling approach that clearly communicated purpose and impact.

Project Challenges

VISIOLAB’s approach centered on a narrative-first, customer-centric strategy:

  1. Untangling Complexity Through Storytelling
    We worked closely with PETRONAS stakeholders across departments to uncover the human stories behind the systems—bringing together decision-makers, developers, engineers, and end-users to reflect real impact.
  2. On-the-Ground Immersion
    Our teams conducted interviews and filming at multiple PETRONAS facilities, ensuring authentic representation of operations, environments, and workflows.
  3. Collaborative Script Development
    The storylines for both series went through multiple refinements in post-production to ensure coherence. We guided clients through storyboarding and narrative restructuring, giving them ownership of the creative process while maintaining editorial flow.
Project Strategy

Over a multi‑week production schedule, our team filmed on location across Kuala Lumpur and Bintulu, capturing expert interviews, operational footage, and contextual b‑roll. In post‑production, we integrated bespoke motion graphics, dynamic sound design, and a consistent visual identity — ensuring both videos felt polished, engaging, and on‑brand.

  • End-to-End Production Excellence:
    VISIOLAB helped PETRONAS managing every aspect of the production—from pre-production planning and on-location filming to motion graphics and sound design. Despite an extended post-production phase, our adaptive approach ensured that every element of the story was refined and impactful.

Velesto Energy approached VISIOLAB with a clear goal: to showcase their cutting-edge operations and technologies at OGA 2024. They needed a wide range of content that would visually communicate their expertise in the oil and gas industry, engage trade show attendees, and extend their reach through online channels. The project required high-end production, including a 360º virtual tour of their offshore drilling rig, immersive 3D animations, daily event coverage, and social media content to ensure continuous audience interaction throughout the event.

Project Challenges

Velesto Energy’s primary challenge was to present their complex drilling technologies and offshore operations in a visually compelling and easily digestible format for a diverse audience. They also needed to create a seamless, immersive experience that could educate potential clients, industry professionals, and students, both at the trade show and through digital platforms.

VISIOLAB devised a multi-pronged content strategy, aimed at solving these pain points:

  1. Simplified Technical Content: Through the use of 3D animation explainer videos, we simplified complex drilling processes, making them understandable for non-experts.
  2. Interactive Experience: The 360º drilling rig virtual tour offered an immersive ‘day-in-the-life’ experience of offshore work, giving trade show attendees and online viewers a first-hand look at the scale and operations of Velesto’s rigs.
  3. Constant Engagement: Daily social media content, live event coverage, and themed screensavers helped Velesto maintain continuous visibility and engagement with their audience throughout OGA 2024.

  • 360º Virtual Tour: Using cutting-edge technology, we created an immersive virtual tour of Velesto’s offshore drilling rig, showcasing key areas of the rig such as the helideck, living quarters, command room, and drilling floor. This interactive tour was featured at their OGA booth and on digital platforms, educating viewers about offshore life.
  • 3D Animation Logo, Tagline, and Theme Screensavers: We designed eye-catching animated logo sequences and screensavers that incorporated Velesto’s tagline and theme, reinforcing their branding across all digital touchpoints.
  • Event Coverage: VISIOLAB provided comprehensive event coverage, capturing the highlights of Velesto’s participation in OGA 2024. This included photography, videography, and live updates across social media platforms.
  • Daily Social Media Content: Throughout the event, we produced daily content, including videos, images, and updates, keeping Velesto’s audience engaged both onsite and online.

The Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA) sought to create an immersive digital experience for their Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Facility. Their goal was to showcase the intricate operations and processes in a way that could be accessed remotely, especially for educational and industry stakeholders. The brief required an interactive 360º virtual tour that detailed various areas of the facility, coupled with clear and engaging explainer videos for each space to improve understanding of its technical and operational functions.

Project Challenges

Understanding the technical complexity of MYSA's AIT facility, our first goal was to create a solution that simplified the highly specialized nature of the spaces while retaining the precision of information. The client needed to convey a lot of data to a broad audience, including students, industry professionals, and decision-makers, in a way that was engaging and easy to follow.

We addressed these needs by:

  • Creating a seamless 360º virtual environment that allows users to navigate the facility and understand its layout.
  • Developing explainer videos for each specific area of the facility, focusing on highlighting key functions, processes, and the facility's role in satellite development.
  • Ensuring the technical aspects were communicated visually, while also providing simple, digestible information.

Project Strategy

VISIOLAB executed the project using state-of-the-art 360º videography equipment and our in-house virtual tour development platform. Each critical area of the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) facility was meticulously captured, and explainer videos were crafted to ensure users could immerse themselves in the technical environment while also having easy access to necessary contextual information.

Key aspects of the execution included:

  • Capturing high-resolution 360º footage of each space within the AIT facility, ensuring full visibility and smooth navigation for users.
  • Developing targeted explainer videos for each section of the facility, simplifying complex processes while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Integrating interactive elements into the virtual tour, allowing users to seamlessly switch between the tour and the explainer videos.
  • Ensuring the virtual experience is compatible across devices, whether accessed on desktop or mobile, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience.

The 360º Virtual Tour of MYSA’s AIT facility received positive feedback for its ease of use and informative nature. It has successfully broadened access to MYSA's space technology facilities, allowing not only industry professionals but also students and interested parties from around the world to explore the facility virtually.
