Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in audits and financial compliance by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST/SST, corporate tax) and handle submissions.
  • Ensure financial record-keeping aligns with company policies and industry standards.

Financial Analysis & Business Performance:

  • Analyze financial statements to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor company expenses, cash flow, and profitability to enhance financial health.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Conduct research to identify potential business opportunities, target markets, and industry trends.

  • Adapt scripts to fit the intended format, duration, and style of the video

Storyboarding

  • Create storyboards to visualise the video's narrative and shot sequences
  • Ensure that the storyboard aligns with the script and project goals

Pre-production

  • Plan and organise all pre-production activities, such as location scouting, casting, and scheduling
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure all necessary resources are available.

Production

  • Oversee the filming process, ensuring that the script is executed as planned
  • Direct actors and crew to achieve the desired performance and visual style

Post-production

  • Review and select the best takes for editing
  • Collaborate with video editors to ensure that the final product aligns with the script and vision

Visual and Audio Elements

  • Coordinate the inclusion of visual and audio elements, such as graphics, music, and sound effects, to enhance the video's impact

Quality control

  • Ensure that the final video meets quality standards and project objectives. Review and approve the final edit before distribution

Budget Management

  • Manage the budget for each video project including expenses related to production and post-production

Stakeholder communication

  • Maintain open communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders throughout the production process.
  • Address feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project goals

Trends and innovations

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new video production techniques, and emerging technologies to continually improve video content quality
